  • Upon inspection, tech found the following: -Car has blown head gasket, and possibly plugged heater core. Engine failed block test three times in a row. No heat from cab. Recommend flushing heater core and replacing head gaskets. -Check engine light is on due to failing cooling system. P2181 -Right front outer tie rod is bad. -Front brakes are at 2mm, steering wheel shakes when braking. 0
  • CYLINDER HEAD GASKET – Remove and Replace – V8 Both Sides – [Includes: Remove carbon and check surfaces for warpage. Includes (where applicable): Adjust idle speed, Ignition timing, Valves and clean and adjust Spark Plugs.]

  • EXHAUST MANIFOLD – Remove and Replace – V8,5.7L Eng Right or Left,Each
  • Extract 1 broken bolt
  • P2098 Current code. Will likely be solved with fixing exhaust leak.
  • Upon inspection, tech found rear brake caliper slides not sliding, uneven wear and parking brake cam frozen. Recommend replacing Rear pads, rotors, calipers, parking brake shoes, and hardware with new fluid. Noise from front end coming from worn axle joints, passenger side started to make noise, drivers side joint very bad making loud clunking noise. Recommend replacing both axle joints. Coolant needs to be flushed, as well as rear differential fluid. Customer approved coolant flush, oil change, and rear differential fluid.
  • Removed cover, old gasket material and drained old fluid. Inspected internals, installed new gasket , reassembled cover and installed new fluid to proper levels. Road tested vehicle for proper operation.
  • Inspect hoses and clamps. Pressure test cooling system. Drain all fluid and refill. Bring antifreeze to -35 degrees. PH balance coolant to between 9.8 to 10.5. Check thermostat and electric cooling fan operation.

Broken bolt for coil #6 -Brake fluid is milky pedal goes almost to the floor before stopping -Right valve cover leaks oil badly -Thermostat housing is leaking badly -No oil on dipstick on arrival, Tech added two quarts in order to test drive, Truck is still a quart low on oil. -Rear sway bar bushings are loose -Front sway bar end links are bad. -Front ball joints are very bad and not safe to drive on -Multiple exhaust studs are broken off in head.

  • Tech pulled intake and air filter, Found air box and intake full of water and mud. Un-able to honor warranty with trucks conditions. After removing intake tech found debris lodged in turbo housing, Turbo impeller destroyed. Recommend replacing turbo, air filter and thoroughly cleaning air box and intake system. Replaced complete turbo assembly, and all gaskets and seals needed for job. Confirmed fixed! Tech found rear brakes at 2mm, recommend all fluid changes. Serviced and flushed brake system, transmission fluid, Both front and rear differentials, transfer case and oil change. Also replaced upper radiator due to coolant leak at engine side of hose. Test drove truck after all work and confirmed No problems. Customer declined replacement of rear brakes.
  • Tech inspected wire thoroughly and found no problems at this time.
  • TURBOCHARGER – Remove and Replace – F250 Super Duty,F350 Super Duty w/o Dual Rear Wheels
  • Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
  • Flushed all transmission fluid.
  • Remove cover. Remove old gasket material, drain old fluid, inspect internals and reassemble with new gasket. Install new fluid to proper levels. Road test vehicle for proper operation.
  • Removed cover, old gasket material and drained old fluid. Inspected internals, installed new gasket , reassembled cover and installed new fluid to proper levels. Road tested vehicle for proper operation.
